I have been such a gourmet starting from last Sunday. Here in Finland we have celebrated the "laskiainen" (don't know the actual translation). I baked these buns and after they had cooled down we cut them in half and stuffed them with jam or marzipan and whipped cream - just the way we wanted! 
What a yummy combination! :)

  3. These look great! I think it would be a sliding festival... not sure. I know less than 29 Finnish words. I wish my dad, who speaks it fluently, would have taught us the language!
